Phone Calls with My Sister is a little nod to my sister, inspired by the conversations we shared over the phone while I was creating this piece. A reminder of how special the simplest moments can be, and how comforting it is to have someone there, even from a distance.

This painting holds a little piece of that time together, dedicated to the conversations, connection and quiet comfort that inspired it.

The painting itself, I wanted to create the feeling of being in a kitchen, preparing to host someone, with the possibility that they may never arrive. The contrast between the full glass and the empty one hints at a story, but what that story means is yours to decide.
